1971 Mercury Comet
For Sale a 2nd owner 71 Mercury Comet 4 door sedan. I bought this car from the original owner in Atlanta GA with the intention to restore, but circumstances have changed. The car is unmolested and has only been cleaned since purchase. It has the 170 or 200 CID inline 6 engine with an automatic transmission. The engine turns freely but does not run due to a faulty starter. It is a base model car with no power brakes or steering. The car is very solid but there are rust spots in a number of areas due to sitting for approximately 3 decades, please see the pics. The interior is completely original and complete, but will require attention. The tires are terrible and only suitable for rolling on/off a trailer.
