Proof that the elusive "Barn Find" is for real! This 1969, Cougar Eliminator S code, was literally found in an Ohio barn! Acquired through original owners estate by Sunbelt Motors, offering this rare, 1969 un-molested original barn find car for auction.
Specifications include: 390v8 close ratio 4 speed with 3.25 locker rear end. One owner car with 62763 miles "verified by estate with Odometer statement."Only 1 of 78 with this drivetrain and color combo. Absolutely a unique and rare one off factory build. Believed to be 1 of 4 with close ratio 4 speed in this build configuration.As the story goes, the car was purchased new by Mrs. N. Frazier in 1969. Mrs. Frazier gifted the car to her son, Glen upon his return from military service, in 1975. The car has been in the same family until Sunbelt Motors of Ohio purchased it in October, 2018. According to a source familiar with the family, the car was running when it was parked in the barn circa 1981.
