I've come to the realization that I have too many projects, so I'm selling my Marauder. These cars are very rare. When was the last time you saw one? When I purchased this car, I was going to be out of town when it was delivered, so I had it delivered to a buddy's shop about 50 miles from my house. He said he would bring it to me. I was expecting him to trailer it, so I was surprised when he drove up in it. He said it ran good and the a/c blew cold.This particular Marauder is the base model, although it does have the optional black deck and fender skirts. The skirts are in the trunk. It has a 429 with automatic transmission. The odometer is showing approximately 38,000 miles, although I don't know if that is actual. My buddy had it up on a lift at his shop and said the car looked solid overall, with the exception of the quarters. I have replacement used quarters from dry Arizona for the car. They're paid for and are included in the auction, but you would need to make shipping arrangements and pay for shipping.I have a Marti report on the car, along with a factory brochure and color chip chart. This would make a great foundation for a unique cruiser, which was my intent. Mercury only produced this body style Marauder in 1969 and 1970, so these are rare.A $500 deposit is due at auction close by Pay Pal.
