1967 Mercury Cougar

Original California black plate car, I have a copy of the CA title. I've owned this car since 2013. Upon receiving it shortly after I developed an oil leak at the front seal. Upon further inspection I realized the motor needed some attention since the motor was clearly just washed and freshened up with paint.
Thus I made the decision to pull the motor and completely rebuild the entire engine.
289 bored, balanced and blueprint by Zeuli's Machine shop in Cokato MN.
All internals are Lunati valvetrain, sealed power pistons and comp roller rockers. New harmonic balancer.
Heads ported to fit and match the exhaust gaskets for better breathing. All new guides, hardened seats screw in studs etc. $$ ARP bolts.
Correct vintage Holley Street Dominator intake with Holley 4BB electric choke.
Mallory electronic ignition.
Scott Drake made in USA valve covers.
Engine compartment motor and alternator harness have both been replaced with new repro from West Coast Cougar as well as the complete coolant hose date code clamp set installed.
Rear sequential light box replaced with updated worry free electrical unit from West Coast Cougar.

This car has all the factory goodies.
Power disc brakes factory.
Power steering (removed but have the parts)
Air conditioning (removed but have the parts)
Custom welded magnaflow exhaust and headers.
This has all the original sheet metal and is a rock solid car from the inside out. Body, trunk, floor, rockers, wheel well and lips are rock solid ! This car has not seen salt.
Previous owner installed the 1969 Mustang hood scoop and hood pins.

Since owning I located the correct steering wheel and installed. Also just installed fresh BFGoodrich rubber.

About 800 miles on the motor build. Simply no time to enjoy and I have other cars and hobbies. This car sadly must go.
