1967 Mercury Comet Caliente

This rare car has very few original miles for its age and has spent most of its life in Arizona. It has been in Utah for 18 years when my dad bought it and it has always been garaged or covered. It has been updated with a professionally rebuilt and installed 5.0 motor the is fully rollerized, cam, lifters, and rockers. We still have the original 289 for the car. It has the original C-4. It also has been upgraded to disc brakes from power drum on the front. Rear brakes are still drum. It has new springs, shocks, and suspension. It was originally white with blue interior but has been changed to 1967 vintage burgundy and white interior. The top is two years old and nearly perfect. It has new Michelin radial tires with fewer than 300 miles. It's a real eye-catcher, and my dad is always having people talk with him about his car. We have extra parts as well. It is an amateur restoration, and my dad and I have moved on to another project, and he hardly ever drives it about 15 miles a year.The car has power steering and drives well and easily.
There are some items that need work: The front bucket upholstery needs replacement, the ignition switch needs to be replaced, the console transmission shifter needs work, the dash needs attention, and the rear upholstery panels need to be redone. It is a nice driver but these need to be done to make it nearly perfect.
