1959 Mercury Monterey Sedan

The car starts, runs and drives fine, after sixty years on the road and being unmolested it may need some occasional attention, no surprises there. Engine and transmission are working as they should. In the time I have had it I put new lower ball joints (originals replaced!) new seat covers (back seat still have original upholstery under it in really good condition), rear bumper got re-chromed, new interior carpet and that's it. Almost all other parts and accessories are original and in working condition. What is there but do not work are the radio and the clock. (original clock was replaced by a quartz battery operated one) The chrome is complete and in great condition, very little rust if at all, the only spot I found is the bottom of the passenger side front door, paint is OK but there is a little pitting in the lower rear quarters. All glass in great condition. All in all a really cool car that needs a new home. If you have any question not covered in the description and/or the pictures please do not hesitate to ask.
