1976 Mercury Grand Marquis Green Project Car Great for Project or Parts
1976 Mercury Grand Marquis
1976 Mercury Marquis
The Story!
This car belonged to my neighbor’s father who has been dead for over 20 years. In 1980 the car blew a freeze plug and was garaged ever since until a few weeks ago.
I had bought this from my neighbor with the intent to do a restoration with my uncle, but he is no longer able to commit the time so I am selling it. NO TITLE. It has a clean one, but you will need to apply for it. I have all the information you will need.
I talked to the other neighbor who confirmed what the son had told me in regards to the freeze plug. It is important to note that I live in small suburb of Saint Louis called Affton, and the neighborhood has been here since the early 1930s, so everyone knows everybody’s business and family history.
I have a bill of sale from the son, but no proper title. We were going to apply for an abandoned vehicle title and he agreed to help with the process and I have all the information you need, but for now this car is being sold as parts only.
I really liked the green color and think this would look very cool fixed up, and would be a great father son project.
The odometer reads 02913.9, so that either means it has 102913.9 miles.
You need to have this towed or picked up and I don’t know enough on how to make arrangements to do this. You are also responsible for any cost associated with the pickup.
Please feel free to email with any questions.
THANKS!
