1967 Mercury Cougar S-code Big Block Project
Desirable Turquoise on Black and Desirable Options. Clean Florida title. VIN#7F91S543046.
I am selling my 1967 Cougar S-Code Project as I have too many other projects going on right now. The Cougar doesn't have an engine or transmission but can be put back to numbers matching with a date correct drivetrain. I have a contact for a totally rebuilt date correct motor/C6 trans and 9" rear end for $5,000 (North Carolina). I also have a contact on the west coast that has a complete correct drivetrain with the addition of a hot cam for around $6,000. The car has much potential but needs body restoration. Rust in the typical Cougar places. Doors are good, fenders are decent and rear quarters need bottom patch panels. Floors need repaired in areas. Seats are good but need deep cleaning. Glass is good. Bumpers are straight. The previous owner put new brake lines in the front and the rear ones come with the car. This Cougar deserves to be brought back to it's former glory. I'd like to see it go to someone that would appreciate it. I'm going to lose money on this but my loss is your gain...
