I'm back ....With a great Classic !! Saved from the Arizona desert :)Up for Auction is this 1968 Mercury Cougar, Great Shape with the original 302 motor 4 Barrel 4 speed I have not checked the number'sset up from the factory known as the J-code.Axle code 5

1) Up graded interior and doors from donor XR7 car.2) New Reproduction Dash pad ..from original molding ( better material now! no more bacon dash!)3) New Wind shield (Glass has original green tint in car)4) Custom Rims & Tire, New Brakes & Drums5) Flow Master Mufflers6) Custom Speedometer Bezel & Dash Panel, shifting knob to match.7) Custom Steering wheel8) Custom Package Tray Wrapped in Vinyl (repo's are thin & painted)8) Custom Head light up grade (Went from Vacuum hide a way head light's to Electric)9) New Radiator with Hoses ect, New Alternator & Belts, Gas Tank & Sending unit, Fuel Pump, Carb kit, Head Liner, Door Seals, Door Felts & Rubber, Trunk seal, Fender extension Seals, Door bushing, U-Joints and the list goes on & on.... kept receipts will send them with car.10)Tons of extra parts with sale - Original Doors & Panels front and rear, Original Front Seats, also a Black Rear seat with black Rear panels and even more,11) odometer reads 26,286 I figured it turned over but who knows being a 4 speed the brake and clutch pedals are not worn like most car has a few flaws inside and out will have pictures available just ask.
Car was stripped down,inside and ou, repaired as needed. Used POR-15 on water channels body & doors. Seam sealed. New front and rear rubber glass seals. Shot car with etching primer, then reassembled. I did not do a whole lot of cleaning to the under side mainly from front floor board's back.Very clean.
The car has great lines and spacing ( ATTENTION ) the only non working item is the reverse light switch at the shifter (reverse lights are new) its a $50.00 switch and I did remove the heater box and the dealer after market under dash air unit.pump,pulleys,hoses ect, The shoulder belts and hooks are with car just not installed.I was going to install a newer style of heat and air. Those parts will come with car.
Just look at the photos. This is NOT your typical hiding stuff with blurry photo's car...this is Very Nice & Solid Car plz ask questions. Car is Perfect & very affordable for the average Joe or any High End Speed shop to finish it. Hard work is completed with room to make it your's !!I will only place some of the extra part in trunk . Nothing inside car,, so make sure you have room to haul.
