Very Rare New Mexico Desert Barn Find Complete 1962 Mercury Meteor 2 DR HARD TOP
1962 Mercury Meteor
This vehicle is from a farm in New Mexico and as is true with most cars found in the desert, it has very little rust for it's year. This Mercury is being sold in "as found", "as-is" condition.I can't verify that it runs, you should assume that it does not, generally these vehicles were parked for a reason and that reason is usually that they are in need of mechanical repair.
This Meteor still wears the years of dust that has settled in it's interior and engine compartment, nothing has been cleaned or altered, the purchaser of this Mercury can truly claim that they restored it from being found on a farm in New Mexico and even use the photos from this auction in their scrapbook.
I encourage you to scrutinize the pictures very thoroughly as they represent the vehicle well.
This Mercury does not come with any keys and is sold with a bill of sale, however for $150 I can obtain a bond title, usually the same day.
Please feel free to ask any questions, I usually respond that same day but please allow me up to a couple days to respond.
Please review my feedback and bid with confidence. If you have less than 25 positive feedbacks, or more than 3% negative feedback, please contact me prior to bidding.

A bonded title and a regular title function exactly the same and allow you to register, insure, and sell your vehicle. A bonded title, also known as a lost title bond, is a certificate verifying a person's ownership of a motor vehicle. A bonded title serves as proof of ownership that allows the owner to proceed with transactions like: buying insurance, registering or selling the vehicle. Theonlydifference between a bonded title and a regular title is that a bonded title is branded ‘Bonded’. A bonded title and a regular title function EXACTLY the same and allow you to register, insure, and sell your vehicle.

A very kind eBayer pointed out that the car is a post, not the "Hard Top" that means without a "B" pillar. Thank you very much for viewing this listing and please keep the comments and questions coming.
