1947 Mercury Other

Unfortunately I am looking to sell my 1947 Mercury convertible 69m. Its definitely a bit of a project, and I just don’t have the room, time, or money to take care of it. I would also like to get it into someone’s hands who would actually take care of it. A little info on it:
It’s a 1947 Mercury convertible, the soft top is in great shape as well as the body, chrome, and interior. It has been stored inside the last 15+ years. I do have it outside at this time due to lack of space. Thankfully the weather in Boise, ID is very mild and sunny. My grandpa bought it back in the day and pulled the original flathead v8 out of it and replaced it with what I believe is a 1966 289 v8. It was stored at my parent’s place for years and was in working condition until my old man decide to drop the clutch and destroyed the tranny. Fast forward a few more years and I decided to rebuild the engine and found another transmission for it, rebuilt the 4 barrel carb, replaced the gas lines, and cleaned the gas tank. Fired her up only to find that the transmission won’t go into gear when the linkage is hooked up, but freely goes into all gears when it’s not. I was starting to pull everything out again when life got busy and it got put on the back burner, until I recently decided I want someone to get it running and actually enjoy the car. So as of right now the radiator and a few other parts are off the car, the exhaust pipes are also gone, and over the years I misplaced the keys for it so the steering wheel lock is engaged, with the tires slightly turned. PM me with anymore questions or inquires. Thank you for your time.
