This has been a personal long term project car. I have lost interest in this project and am looking for someone to take this over with all the interest and drive I used to have for it. My goals were to build a cool classic reliable daily drivable car with sensible upgrades for both comfort performance and reliability. All mechanical systems were joyfully sorted. Rebuilding, restoring and upgrading mechanical aspects of this classic car are what I enjoy doing and excel at. As such the exterior and interior of vehicle are lacking. This is a solid chassis. A little rust at bottom of doors. Very clean and ready for cosmetic work. Someone who is interested in body work and interior work could make him or herself a beautiful reliable unique uncommon classic car. Engine & Performance:

2.8L M110 inline-six, fuel-injected Microsquirt programable fuel (36-1) crank trigger fuel and MSD ignition system installed, PWM auto idle control. No permanent changes made to engine should a conversion back to stock be desired in future.
Engine built to Factory Euro-specifications. Engine was fully rebuilt and gone through, Machine work done by Longs Machine Shop in San Antonio. Euro specifications motor with all wear parts replaced or renewed. Many new internals: camshafts, cam housing, bearings, timing chain, tensioner guides, pistons, and gaskets-ensuring years of smooth, reliable motoring.
Re- build 4-speed automatic transmission rebuilt by Sun Valley Mercedes Transmission.
Several conscientious upgrades done in a factory like manner. Mercedes Diesel turbo radiator, factory additional oil cooler and thermostat from SL.
Air conditioning upgraded with removal and replacement of all vacuum servo controls, upgrade Sandin compressor, upgraded Klima parallel flat plate condenser and Maradyne Champion Aux cooling fan.
All suspension gone through and sorted with new Bilstein shocks bushings tie rod ends. Steering gear rebuilt.
All the brakes are gone through. Upgraded W126 front vented brake rotors, hubs and calipers. All rebuilt with new parts.
Drive live gone through.
New front and rear window seals.
Stainless steel euro exhaust from Time Valve
Differential gone through with new seals.
Several new door seals
