1976 Mercedes 300D, W115 chassis, turbo
1976 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series
1976 Mercedes-Benz 300DSelling my beautiful 300D because I gained a new car.The general info:- 8/10 Black leather interior, only two small rips on back corners of front seats, and a crack in the removable passenger door pocket.- Aftermarket turbo setup- Aftermarket sound system with fantastic subwoofers- 248,xxx miles- All windows and sunroof operate perfectly- 7/10 exterior. No body damage, only one tiny scrape. Main flaw is medium sized patches of peeling clear coat on roof and rear. Paint itself is mostly there.- One small rust spot on driver rear fender, to bottom right of wheel. No other obvious rust known.- Windshield seal could use some love. Can be leaky in heavy rain- Rear end links need installing, and due for an oil change- Burning some oil, and leaking a bit from turbo set up. A rip in a hose is the main culprit. Not a drop of oil beneath the car.I love this car! It's been mainly a weekender, so I've only put on about 2500 miles since I've owned it. The only "major" issue I had during that time was a leak from the fuel filter housing, and that was an easy fix with new washers. I just can't give it the attention it deserves anymore.I'm looking to sell asap, so price is negotiable. $4,500 obo and local pickup only. Clean title in hand.
