You are looking at a factory built Gazelle on a 1984 Chevette frame. This is not the backyard built Gazelle kit, but a car that was professionally built by Gazelle Classic Motor Carriages in Miami Florida. This car was over $20,000 back in 1984. The car has only 9,500 original miles! The frame and drivetrain are from a Chevy Chevette. Back in 1984 they took a brand new Chevette and added the Gazelle body kit to it. The 9,500 miles are the actual miles from the chevette. As you may know, Chevettes get great gas mileage. This car has been in my family for over 25 years. We drive the car on Sundays to church and to get ice cream. Gets lots of smiles, comments, and looks. People call it the "Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang" car. The car burns no oil. Does not smoke and starts as fast as a new car. Drives and shifts perfect. The under carriage is very clean. The motor is clean, and the inside is clean. Exterior is red(Original Paint) and shiny. It has been garage kept, so the car looks excellent. The top is very clean with no staining. It has snap on side windows that attaches to the convertible top.It has a small jack and lug set that is included. The leather belt that stretches across the hood is also included. The VIN# is 1V9DA11A2EM014159 not the one in the item description. That VIN belongs to another vehicle of mine. eBay kept kicking the other number out.
