Up for sale is a beautiful 1983 380 SL with original 92,768 miles. This 1983 380 SL was one of the very last models produced for the 1983 model year(build date 07/83). Originally purchased by first owner on August 30 1983 at Lagrew Motors, Inc. in Lexington KY for $43,253.00. Original bill of sale is included in history binder. Extensive original paperwork, build sheet, service records, metal dataplate and original documentation have been preserved in detailed binder for this vehicle.

This vehicle is 100% all original and presents itself as a time capsule from an era gone by. Exterior original paint still shines after 41 years. The interior is in excellent shape with no rips, stains, or tears. No cracks on dash. All gauges, switches, locks and lights work as should. All windows, cruise control, air conditioning, heater, horn, turn signals work as well. The car received a Zeibart treatment when new and shows no signs of rust on the body or underneath. No aftermarket accessories have been installed on this car. It maintains its original look exactly as it left the Stuttgart Germany factory in 1983.

The second owner purchased it in 1991 and was the same owner for 31 years. I am the 3rd owner with 2 years of ownership with have driven the car approximately 2,500 miles. Extensive new service records and substantial vehicle history records all organized in binder, all original owner’s manuals, Mercedes tools, tire jack, 3 convertible top tools and 2 sets of keys come with this car. Original hardtop and stand with cover come with car. Please note the original Becker radio will need to be updated or replaced. It is currently disconnected.
