I'm selling my 1992 Mercedes-Benz 500 SL. Great condition! I retired one year ago and hardly drive the car (1,000 miles). This car needs a nice home. I have hardtop also. Convertible works fine.

I had it out on the freeway Thursday 29-Feb-24. Opened it up and ran it up to about 90MPH. It is a fast car and has no shake at high speeds. California tags will expire April 2025. Free and clear title. No shifting issues. Small oil leak at front of engine. Idle is intermittently a little rough but the car runs fine. It DID pass SMOG here in California. My local Benz mechanic told me I just need to drive it more often. There are little things like sometimes the LF speaker will cut out, I lock and unlock the car at the trunk (all locks lock that way), the little panel on the driver's door could be secured better, the windows seem to go up and down slowly. AC does blow cold! No overheating issues.
I bought the car 7/21/2020 with 97113 miles. Today is 3/3/2024 101,624 miles. I've owned 3.5 years and have driven it only 4,500 miles!
From Mar 2022 to Mar 2024 only 959 miles... I don't drive it often. I live on a boat and ride my bicycle most of the time.
