It is finished in DB 355 diamond blue over DB 272 blue.leather, and is powered by a 5.6-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Features include a limited-slip differential, a dark blue soft top, thought to be original, a body-color removable hardtop, silver-finished 15 Gullideckel alloy wheels, fog lights, the factory original Becker electronic radio, electric windows, central locking, cruise control, and automatic climate control. This R107 560SL is now offered with extensive manufacturer’s literature, spare keys, a tool kit, a factory first aid kit, original spare tire, and a clean South Carolina title.

The car is finished in Diamond blue (355) and features a color-matched removable hard top and a dark blue convertible soft top with with the Mercedes emblem on the plexiglass (see photo).. Additional exterior equipment includes quad headlights, fog lights, a power antenna, and chrome-accented bumpers and trim, Silver-finished 15 Gullideckel alloy wheels are mounted with 205/65 Michelin MXV4 tires. The car was factory equipped with power steering, fully independent suspension, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.

The cabin features two bucket seats and a carpeted package shelf behind the seats with a color-coordinated lower dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include sun visors with illuminated vanity mirrors, the original electronic radio, electric windows, central locking, cruise control, and automatic climate control.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a 170-mphspeedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, a clock, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel economy, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows less than 63k miles.

The 5.6-liter V8 was factory rated at 227 horsepower and 279 ft lb of torque. Power is routed to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.

From the original maintenance records, it is evident that the car was serviced during the summer in Illinois and Florida in the winter (see photo). The second owner did not continue this record, but it is known that the car was in California where my wife bought it in 2016, and now after driving it just 600 miles in eight years, it is offered for sale in South Carolina.
