1982 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300D Turbo Diesel, ONE OWNER TX CAR, LOW MILES
Up for sale is a true, ONE OWNER Mercedes Benz 300D Turbo Diesel sedan. I am selling for a good friend whose father passed away and had purchased this car brand new from Stephenson Motor Company in Dallas (Mercedes dealer at the time). My friends mother was the only driver of this car from 1982. Ironically I rode around in the car in the mid 1980's as a kid. It has been kept in a garage in Dallas since new and has been well maintained at local authorized shop/dealer. Great record history as owner was meticulousin preventative maintenance whether it needed it or not, ($6k spent on it in April 2023) as they had planned on keeping it quite awhile longer. It was definitely part of the family, even the original spare tire and wheel still in trunk and the original selling dealer's Stephenson badge on rear of car. Headliner is not sagging, dash is not sun baked, interior immaculate and car has very nice front and rear chrome bumpers that typically age from weather and incorrect cleaning products. The owner was very picky and car looks to still have the original paint in great shape. Cold A/C (R134), heat, sunroof, original wheels, Coco mats, immaculate interior. Has 127k miles and all original manuals, extra keys, protect-o-plate, car cover, etc. will come w/ sale. Radio is aftermarket and works intermittently (did come on for pics however), tachometer seems to only work when warm outside and the doors must be locked manually. A very collectible MB and would be a great addition to a collection or daily driver. Boy does it attract attention when driving around and nostalgic for sure. A pretty neat find. No trades.
