1970 Mercedes-Benz Other
Only about 10,000 of these cars with manual transmissions were exported to the U S, not many left in this condition. It has an inline 6 cylinder overhead cam engine with twin 2 barrel (new) carburetors. It accelerates surprisingly fast, sounds great, and doesn’t burn oil.The body is in very presentable condition (9 out of 10), with a recent respray in the original color. There is no rust, it spent its life in Arizona, the floor pans are spotless, however there is a little rust on the left side of the trunk pan, likely due to water trapped under the mat. No repairs are required for this situation.Tires on the car are new Toyo tires mounted on Mercedes alloy rims in excellent condition. The car also comes with stock 13” rims and color matched wheel covers, fitted with new Bridgestone tires. The interior isn’t perfect, the driver’s seat has a small tear as shown, and the front passenger seat also has a small tear. I was going to put blue sheepskin covers on them, but the original Mercedes Tex material is available if someone wanted to bring it back to stock. The driver’s side floor mat has a bare spot, and these are also available if required. The dash is cracked, but I have installed a high quality cover which gives it a stock look. This car is road ready.Vehicle Details:
