Vehicle Details1978 Mercedes Benz 450 SEL 6.9. This 6.9 has [in my opinion] the most desired color combination with originally installed custom dealer appointments such as blacked out powder coated chrome trim and door handles, the entire cars trim was treated but since has been changed to various chrome pieces, some original blacked out trim included. Dealer installed AMG custom steering wheel and ultra rare Recaro leather seats. Seats and steering wheel value to $6k alone. Brand new tires and newly restored original alloys. This is a U.S. Spec model and during my ownership had the euro bumpers professionally installed. This vehicle was in long term storage and has had lots of recent maintenance to bring back to road ready such as 4 of the 5 accumulators replaced, new muffler, full service of all the fluids, tune-up and now runs and drives well, but still needs some maintenance to be perfect. Transmission shifts through all the gears and rides amazing. At some point before my 15 years of ownership the vehicle was repainted and now that paint needs refreshing. Odometer counts including trip so vehicle currently shows 114000. Things that require maintenance are non op sunroof, heat and fan work but no AC currently, drivers window off track, door locks inop.
