Description:

1993 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series

This 1993 Mercedes-Benz 300TE 4MATIC was originally delivered to Benzel-Busch Motorcar Corporation in Englewood, New Jersey, and later spent time in New York and Florida. The car now shows 76k original miles and was acquired by me in August 2022 in New York. I shipped it to Los Angeles with the intent to use as a daily driver, but no longer have space to store it and it deserves to be garaged!

This S124 is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, a stamped service booklet, an accident-free Carfax report, and a recently-adopted California title. It runs clean and passed smog to complete a valid registration through August 2023. It's a wonderful wagon and I wish I could keep it! Committed to seeing it go to a loving owner now that it's here in CA.
It is finished in Blue-Black Metallic over Mushroom leather and powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.
Equipment includes a sunroof, 15″ alloy wheels, power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, an Alpine CD stereo, and rear-facing third-row seating. Work in preparation for the sale reportedly included an ignition system overhaul, an oil change, and replacement of the coolant level sensor and SLS accumulators.
The car is finished in Blue-Black Metallic (199U) and features gray lower body cladding. Exterior details include a power sunroof, roof rails, a panoramic windshield wiper, asymmetrical side mirrors, and headlight wipers. The front lower valance has been replaced. There is a bit of faded paint on the roof and rock chips around the body are shown in the image gallery.
Factory 15″ wheels are wrapped in 195/65 Michelin Energy Saver tires displaying 2015 and 2016 date codes. The self-leveling suspension was serviced by the last owner with a fluid flush and replacement pressure accumulators. Curb rash can be seen on two of the wheels.
The cabin features seating trimmed in Mushroom leather along with a color-coordinated lower dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Zebrano wood veneers accent the dash, center console, and doors. Additional amenities include power-adjustable front seats with driver’s position memory, cruise control, third-row seating, automatic climate control, and an Alpine CD stereo. Wear on the driver’s seat as well as carpet stains and lifting of the upholstery on the pillars and center console are worth noting.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an inset clock along with auxiliary gauges. The ambient temperature display is not working.
The 3.0-liter M103 inline-six was factory rated at 177 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system. The distributor cap and rotor, spark plug wires, spark plugs, ignition coil, fuel filter, and oil and filter were replaced in 2022. In addition, the vehicle was recently given a full service in Los Angeles in May 2023, all fluids checked & changed and a full diagnostic completed with paperwork to reflect.
Manufacturer’s literature, recent maintenance records and a stamped service booklet are included in the sale.
