1986 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class SL

This gorgeous 560SL was finished in black ( MB color code 040) with Palomino color leather interior. It comes with a brand new soft top and the original hard top in black as well. It has been owned by the same family since 1997, was always garaged and very well maintained. The body is still in wonderful condition and the paint shines like on a much newer car. The black color is a wonderful contrast to the tan color interior. The interior is very clean, as the many pictures will show. There are no rips or tears in the seats and the leather is still very soft. Even the wood is still in excellent condition. The soft top is new as of last week. But the best thing about this car is the way it drives. Even though it was not driven that much the last few years, it was still maintained very well. The same mechanic who sold the car in 1997 maintained it all along. We just recently had the fluids and filters changed and the valves adjusted. This car always starts up right away and it has lots of power. It shifts smoothly through all the gears and it is a pleasure to drive. All the windows and the power door locks work as intended. Even the AC still blows cold. I could not think of anything it needs and i would not hesitate taking it on long trip with little notice. I would prefer to sell this wonderful SL locally to somebody who could actually come out and see it. But i would also be willing to help with shipping logistics for any out of town winning bidders. Please have your funding in order and do all your "due diligence" BEFORE placing a bid. This is a wonderful, well maintained classic car and it will be sold WITHOUT a warranty.
