Here's a luxury European hot rod that doesn't become available very often and a rare sight to see this side of the Atlantic.

I am helping sell this incredibly rare 1980 Mercedes 500SL for my mother in law. This car is the 19th off the assembly line out of a total of 501 produced in 1980. The car has always been in Florida, garaged, with no rust. Car has Renal rims with new looking tires. The soft top has been changed and still looks very nice with clear rear window.

I have driven the car and it runs well for its age. There are a few things I would point out. The driver window only goes up and down a couple of inches. We were told by a local shop that there is a broken tooth on a gear in the window. This is common for this type of car and it should be an affordable fix. There are some scratches and chips in the paint...The car still looks extremely nice for a 43 year old car.All original interior with leather seats (need refinishing). Includes matching hard top.
