1993 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

You are bidding a 1993 Mercedes 500E. This is one of the first supercars built by Mercedes in collaboration with the Porsche factory down the road from the Mercedes plant. A few 500 class cars were taken to Porsche where the body, engine and suspensions were reworked and then returned to Mercedes for finishing as a 500E. they were nicknamed "the wolf in sheep's clothing" by those unsuspecting autobahn drivers that decided to put it to a challenge, as they saw nothing but taillightsafter a few seconds.....
This is a very nice example of one of those cars. It is a.....RUST FREE CA. CAR !!!!The car runs great and has no mechanical issues. The tires, brakes and transmission are good. The interior is in very clean crisp condition minus a little wear on the driver seat.The exterior still shows well but is beginningto show a little sunburn and fading of the clear coat. There are a couple door dings and some minor scratches here and there.
This is not a concourse or museum car, but it is close to being one.It is an awesome drivers car. It would make a great candidate for a full restoration as it is already in such nice condition.
