Here you found our 1988 Mercedes 560SEL with only 80700 original miles. This gorgeous car has only had 1 owner since new. In the last 10 years it was hardly driven anymore and remained stored in a climate controlled garage. I picked it up a few weeks ago, had my mechanic go through it to offer it for sale here on eBay.This car has always been pampered all its life and it shows. The body and the paint are in wonderful condition, as the many pictures will show. It was finished in Smoke Silver (MB color code 702) and the paint still shines like on a much newer car. This Mercedes has been in CA only since new. The leather interior was finished in this gorgeous dark brown color and it is in amazing condition. The contrast of the dark color interior to the light colored silver looks very elegant. There are no rips or tears in the soft leather and the seats are still firm.I posted a lot more pictures below this description and they can describe this stunning car better than i can.This classic Mercedes really stands out and you just do not see them in this condition anymore. But the best thing about it is the way it drives. I drove it down from the Bay area to Los Angeles a few weeks ago without any problems. My mechanic just re-charged the AC, changed fluid and filters and gave it a clean bill of health. It always starts up right away, has lots or power and shifts very smoothly through all the gears. All the windows, cruise control, sunroof, door-locks work the way they should. The AC blows ice cold. The radio works, but i can not get the volume to go up. Other than that i could not think of anything it needs and i would not hesitate driving it to the east coast on short notice.This car comes with a clean CA title, the key and a clean Carfax showing service history and the very low miles. The CA registration is on NON-OP status with the DMV. I will also get a new CA smog inspection for any winning bidder within California.I would prefer to sell this car locally to somebody who could come by and see it. But i would also be helpful with shipping arrangements for any out of town winning bidders. This is a very well taken care of classic Mercedes and as such will be sold WITHOUT a warranty.Please have your funding in order and do all your ''due diligence" BEFORE placing a bid.
