The video above is from the previous owner, Andrew.This 190SL belonged to his former wife which her parents was the original owners.I suggest watching the video before anything to understand the past history.

The original owner as stated in the video above purchased this car for his wife as a Valentines Day Gift.The owners lives in Malibu & it was mostbelieved to be purchasedfrom MB Simonson - Schactmayer in Santa Monica near Beverly Hills.


The original owner wife use to sell real estate in this car in one of the more upstate part of Southern California back in the 60's.
Then in 1974 selling it to her daughter in which it was her College car. In 1975, she married Andrew (gentlemenin the video) and purchased a 300TD Sedan. Making this there "weekend car" for the next 46 years.
She had no intentions on ever selling the 190SL. I had Talked to her a few times over the years. Always covered in the garaged, still driving it on occasion as they lived near Pacific Coast Highway in Rolling Heights.
In 2018. sadly Lori had passed away. Her husband came to the conclusion it was time to move the Mercedes as it became hard to see it anymore without her. In 2019, it was sold to us. Photos below show it that day.










____________________________________________It has remained very original, just being repainted once in its original color White "DB 50"either late 70's or Early 80's.
The upholstery & top was redone as well around the same time. Only being a soft top.
Remains a SOLID California Mercedes with original floor pans. Only spot I could find is a very small hole on the front passenger above floor. The quarters, frame structure & trunk are clean. I do have the CA personalizedBlue plates from the 70's with the registrations to document.
The original drive train 121 921(M121 BII1.9L inline four-cylinder/ Manual 4 speed) was rebuilt with little miles since. The original Solex dual carburetors was swapped out at the time of rebuilt for Webers for dependable driving. The original carburetors / intake / lines & air cleaners are boxed & come along with the sale. It was recently just serviced on March 16th at British Connections. Front to back mechanical inspection, greasing, oils, etc.
Since being in my ownership since 2019, I have driven it less then 500 miles. Been garaged and shown. It is very dependable and can be driven, trustworthy.

Overall, this is a original 190SL that has never been taken apart nor restored. Its a "Survivor" type with being repainted once.
