Up for auction is this 1973 Mercedes-Benz 450SL
The car is in need of a restoration. Lots of replacement parts were installed during the time that I have owned the car.
The car starts, stops and drives. It was last registered in 2018 but it is started and driven around its current location every week.
In recent months a new Bosch starter was installed along with a Mercedes Benz battery.
The under carriage has minimal surface rust. Bundt wheels with good tires.
The body is in need of work as the paint is peeling in some areas. The car was originally painted “deep blue”.
Rust is on the rear bumper and parts of the rear trunk area.
Interior has the carpeting removed. The seats are original and seat belts are present.
The car comes with a clear Massachusetts title.
Mileage is supposedly original and is documented according to the title.
