A nimble, somewhat rare short wheelbase car with the venerable M103 6-cylinder engine. Late (refreshed) model year in smoke silver (“rauchsilber”) over tan leather (“palomino”). The vehicle is enthusiast owned and was built to be the best and most original driving example available; well over USD 10,000 in recent, documented maintenance with all OEM parts performed by Mercedes-Benz (classic) dealers. Anything that could wear (suspension bushings, brakes, exhaust system, radiator, transmission, etc. etc.) or benefit from service has been addressed. No surprises. The vehicle needs nothing and can be driven anywhere.
Sympathetic ‘restoration’ that shows minimal patina (a keen observer will note very small dings, scratches, and signs of overzealous buffing).
