2.9 liter OM602.980 5 cylinder Mercedes turbo diesel motor. This is the last rendition of the OM602, which has 121hp and 207ft lbs of torque. Combined with the 5 speed manual transmission, it’s actually got the same getup that the T1N is known for. The 602 is widely considered one of the most reliable engines ever produced, comparable to the famous om617 which it is based on. Direct injected, electronically controlled mechanic injection pump.
