1986 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 2 door roadster with hard top and soft top

I am listing this car for a good friend of mine. She has no experience with Ebay and i am helping her out. It is her own personal car and she owned it/pampered it for several years. It comes with a clear CA title in her name. No stories...1986 was the first year Mercedes put the larger 5.6 liter engine in the well established R107 series. It was the end of a very successful production run for the top of the line Mercedes Benz roadster and the first year with airbag.This 560SL was finished in Signal red with the rare black leather interior. Most of these cars had the Palomino color interior and the black leather version is much harder to find. It is a very classy color combination and she does get compliments whenever she takes it out. This car has always been garaged and it shows.As you can see in the many extra pictures, the body is in excellent condition and the paint still shines like on a much newer car. The interior is very clean and the leather seats are still soft. The convertible top is new as of August 2022 and it looks great. The car also comes with the factory red hard top.This car has always been well maintained and it is a pleasure to drive. It only has 84k miles after 36 years of pampered use.Even after several weeks in the garage, it always starts up right away without any problems. The transmission shifts very smooth through all the gears and there is plenty of power. The ABS assisted brakes work perfectly and the whole car feels very solid all around. All the gauges are working properly just like the power windows, power door locks, radio and AC. This is a CA car and there is no rust at all.
