Rare Mercedes Benz four wheel drive 280GE. I have owned this short wheel base 280GE for 15 years. It has been an always reliable companion who got me through any snowfall or to any mountain trailhead. I bought it off Ebay from Florida. This rare G class was I believe federalized in 1985 possibly by Europa Inc. It came with tan interior with door inserts and with a custom woven carpet set. I had rubber mats made for the front footwells. The 280GE came with a M110 gas 6 cylinder engine. I did hit a tree on the passenger side front bumper so that is bent. It shows how very tough these W460 G class are. There is also a small dent in the drivers side door. There are some chips in the paint up front. Overall though I think this is a fun and capable Mercedes 280GE
