I have owned this car for almost 2 years, and have put quite a bit of work into it.The items that could still use attention are as follows:
- Diesel leak. This does not affect the drivability at all, the car runs and drives perfectly fine. There just seems to be some seepage from the diesel injection pump that needs to be sealed. The pump is in working order.
- Could use a fresh set of tires and an alignment.
-The original Becker radio is intact, but currently not functioning. This can be removed and sent for repair, I can provide references for companies if needed.
- Passenger seat controls not currently functioning.
- Some wear on driver's side seat bolster.
This W126 is a solid driver example that I wouldn't hesitate to take cross country if needed.
