RARE, 1984 Mercedes-Benz 300D turbo diesel Factory 8 seat limo in immaculate original condition - with low miles.

VIN #: WDB1231321A127432

This limoscene was delivered to North America early on kept indoors by the previous car collector elderly couple who used it only for shows. The interior of the car is in pristine original condition with no fading or sun damage due to the fact that the windows have always been tinted, and still are. Oftentimes the dash in W123 cars are cracked and it’s remarkable that this dash is completely crack free and even more amazing is that an uncracked blue dash. It has the original navy blue carpet and rare blue velour seats including near perfect rear jump seats. The previous owners installed a technical and expensive “Elsbett Style Dual Tank Vegetable Conversion” with two tanks in order to start the car on diesel and run it on vegetable oil and shut it down on diesel. This system is currently bypassed to run only on diesel and for originalities sake, you can easily remove the system to have it as factory delivered diesel only. The previous owners installed a comprehensive quality stereo system and alarm system.

This car also remarkably has only covered 110,639 miles from the rare OM617 turbo diesel engine - the most desirable of all long wheel base W123s and the least produced.

The air conditioning has been rebuilt, serviced and is blowing cold and heater controls work well. All power windows function as they should without the common window chatter. The limoscene only parts such as rear door panels, arm rests, quarter window, rear door regulators and trim, unmarked perfect condition limo dash only carpets are all original and dated to this car.

The paint is the factory delivered 1984 040 Classic White color and is in fantastic condition and original except for the trunk which was recently color matched / painted.

Bumpers front and rear are the north american delivered originals and are in excellent condition as well as the north american headlights and headlight doors.

There is not nor ever was any rust or welding repairs - all of the metal is factory Stuttgart original - in this limo. Factory undercoating and Mercedes waxoel is still found throughout. There is nothing reproduction on this car. The limo also has original W123 14” hubcap style rims, with stainless steel polished, color matched hubcaps in superb condition.

This limo has been fully serviced with; fuel hoses, filter change (fuel + oil), valve adjustment, oil change, new tires, brakes are good, transmission serviced, new battery, and runs and drives well and is a remarkable survivor of a rare collectible Mercedes.

My Mercedes limo is located in southern California and would make an authentic addition to any Mercedes collection or just a fantastic well-sorted original example of a classic. It is currently titled and registered and ready to be driven and enjoyed anywhere.
