Up for sale is my very nice 1986 Mercedes 560SL that runs and drives beautifully. I've had the car for a few years and have done an extensive amount of work to the car. This Mercedes has 88K miles on the odometer, which works perfectly fine. Clean Title in hand. Have records for the work performed. I've garaged kept her and only driven during the summer. AC/Heat work on the car, windows function as they should, signals and hazards work, Antenna goes up and down, lights work as they should. I had the car gone over completelyon 10/20/19 which was a $4,000 bill. Over the past few years I have done the following work;
1) Replaced the lower control Arms & Ball joints - $687
2) Replaced Valve cover gasket - $200
3) Replaced Stablizer Bar & Bushings - $225
4) Brake system bleed - $125
5) Installed jumper harness and relays for better power to fuel pump - $562
6) Flushed coolant, replaced oil & filters and complete service - $225
7) Brand new spark plug & cords - $120
8) Replaced entire carpet set with German carpets - $1,500 (including labor)
9) Driver side seat fixed the adjustment lever - $175
10) Brand new driver and passanger sills and chrome - $420 (including labor)
11) Hood was repainted with exact code - $850
12) Brand new battery - $175
13) Brand new Fuel pump - $200
14) Replaced trunk carpets - $350
15) OEM Brake Caliper - $320
16) Wheel alignment - $100
I'm sure I'm missing a lot of little things as I was always throwing money into it. Comes with the side moldings near the rockers (took them off for paint). Has been a fun car to own but I need the money for other investments. Lots of work has been done to this car Mechanically and Cosmetically over the years. I would say around $8,000 or so invested in this car. Have all the records. Runs and drives very strong. Shifts through the gears perfectly and the suspension is great. Very smooth ride. It does need a few more things to make it 100% such as some TLC to the right of the drivers seat. It's just worn not u or anything. Very minimal rust on the cars. Floors are clean as well as rockers.
