This is a two owner Mercedes 300SE in incredible condition. The first owner was a slightly built Doctor from Potomac, MD. who weighed only 110 lbs.(or less) with an even smaller wife. Hence, the virtually pristine and firm bucket seats and immaculate interior. They were non smokers as is the second owner! The interior is amazing and beautiful and extremely 'old school' luxurious. The car drives like a large sports car. The ride is quiet and smooth. The M103 overhead cam 6 cylinder is considered one of the best Mercedes ever made. Economical, fast and super durable and smooth. The car stops on a dime with no squeaking, vibration or noise. The 106k miles are considered very low for this model. It's not a show car but our pictures don't lie...it's a stunningly beautiful car and it drives as well as it looks. This car at 70 mph is effortless and wonderful! The big S class cars were also the safest in the world when built and still rank among the safest of all time!

Two owners since 1991
Accidents:
One (1) in 2019, minor fender bender, replaced one fender, hood and grill. No major structural damage. Air bags did not deploy!

Paint and Body:
Excellent- one repaint and one follow up repair since 1991. Note- The lower gray trim and front and rear bumpers has not been repainted and could use minor touch up. The replacement hood has a few noticeable tiny dings on the flat surfaces. If you wanted the car in closer to show condition, you could repaint it. But that's being picky! The hood also needs a new insulation pad. Chrome, metal trim and glass are all excellent. All lights, turn signals, brake and fog lights are operational. All dash lights and instrumentation work. Wood trim is excellent with one light crack in the finish only on the center console. No rust anywhere. No trunk or interior leaks. No wind noise and no dried up odor or window seals. Car has always been garage kept.
Other recent Improvements:
All wheels were removed, soda blasted and powder coated Mercedes silver. All tires replaced, mounted and road force balanced. All lugs stripped and repainted. Front struts replaced, new tie end rods, brake shoes and rotors replaced, major service oil change and lube done. A/C recharged and blows cold. New power antennae, stock radio replaced with nice Sony AM/FM/CD player with MP3 capacity.
Terms:
$5,500 minimum bid, no reserve, $500 deposit by the winning bidder to PayPal at the conclusion of the sale. Winning bidder can choose to fly or drive to Maryland to inspect and drive the car. If not totally satisfied, the sale will be cancelled and the deposit returned. The bidder has 5 days to conclude the sale.
If the winning bidder chooses to buy and ship they can pay the total amount to PayPal and then arrange and pay for shipping. If they care to drive the car home, we can send title and they can come to Maryland to pick it up. PayPal final sales are non refundable. The seller offers every opportunity for the buyer to fully inspect and drive the car in person. Interested buyers can also come to Maryland (Hagerstown) to do the same prior to the conclusion of the auction.
After pick up or shipping there will be no negotiation to lower or modify the price in any way. There is also no warranty implied or indicated. Again, every opportunity will be given to inspect and drive the car before either bidding or before final payment.
