The body on the car is in excellent condition and is straight as an arrow. The car never saw any collision or rust damage. The paint was redone 10 or more years ago but still looks new and is finished in gorgeous Mercedes color of Signal Red and has always been garaged. The car is riding original Mercedes 14" steel wheels/hubcaps and has older Michelin Radials. All chrome trim, glass (Original Sigla windshield), and rubber seals are in great shape. The soft top is like new and in excellent condition, and has almost never been up. The hard top has good seals and the headliner is in awesome shape.
The interior is in great shape all around. The original Black Leather seats are all in very good condition and look very nice with no rips or ware lines, which shows the quality of material used in this car. The dash, door panels, and console are all in very good shape. The original carpets are all very nice are not worn or damaged. The sound system is also very nice with the original Becker unit still in place and functional. Music is crisp and clear and not overwhelming. All lights, gauges switches, and accessories work as they should.
Mechanically, this SL runs GREAT! The car starts right up and shifts smooth as silk. The car has had thousand dollars spent on service in recent maintenance. It's all ready to hit the road with the top dropped! All brakes are new including new Calipers, AC has been serviced, car has no fluid leaks, and was just tuned up.
