This is a Mercedes rally car project started 25 years ago from our daily driver then put into dry storage. This car has a factory limited slip differential that is geared for acceleration; not high speed along with 16" wheels similar to the later factory rally cars; 1 has some damage to the center from a tire mounting machine. In the past 20 years we have acquired other projects and need to send this one to a new home. Ohio car that has had new K&K floors, a new LF Mercedes OEM fender. Recent Bosch fuel pump, all factory manuals many extra parts including an aluminum hood, multiple interior panels & consoles, grills with new inserts and a rebuilt speedometer. Car was kept mobile under its own power up until 2 years ago when it was moved to this off site climate controlled storage building. The spare engine is from a 1972 280SE 4.5 that is in excellent condition and is set up for the factory oil cooler. That car died of terminal rust in Ohio. This engine has been on site and in dry storage since 2002. All books and equipment related to the W107 chassis Mercedes will be included in this sale and must all be removed from the 2 locations about 15 miles apart within 2 weeks of the sale.
