Beautiful legendary 1980 Mercedes 240D in a rare white exterior over impeccable black interior. This car belonged to a perfectionist and its condition will prove it. This car has low miles 123,xxx and is in OUTSTANDING condition inside and out. This car has a clean and clear California title in hand, climate control garage kept, non smoker, the paint is in very good condition and has a spectacular deep gloss, it is very evident this car has spent its life in the garage, air condition works great (Blows ice cold) The tires and brakes are in very good condition, engine and transmission are excellent as well and I cannot think of anything off the top of my head that the car needs. This impressive machine drives fantastic, engine is very quiet and has that perfect Diesel engine sound, the suspension feels tight as well as the steering wheel and shifter. There are no funny noises at all, no clunking, no vibration. The car has one of the best engines Mercedes has ever engineered and is well known to last over a million miles, (the 4 cylinder diesel) and almost indestructible, used by many taxi cab drivers in Europe. This particular 240D it is NOT SLOW!!! it is pretty peppy and couldn't make a big difference between a 300D and a 240D. The interior is in spectacular condition and shows minimum to no signs of wear. There are absolutely NO CRACKS ON THE DASH!!! The seats are firm and the MB text is still soft to the touch, all pleats from the seats are still raised and with substantial cushion, all piping, rubber and trim around the are also in very good condition if not excellent, al chrome is in great condition and has its natural shine, every single button and option in this car is in proper working condition. The car also has the factory sound system with its original working Becker Europa radio and 2 level antenna. The engine compartment and engine itself is also very clean and all manufactory stickers are visible, there are no signs of any leaks of any kind of fluids. The car recently had all fluids checked and serviced (engine, transmission, radiator, etc.) All manuals, keys, service records and original tools are all present. This car is the exact opposite of the typical used car, and is truly in great shape. I hate my time being wasted, and will not waste yours. This car runs strong, shifts smoothly with no slipping or excessively hard shifts, and is in great cosmetic condition. This is a true NO DISAPPOINTMENT car.
