The car was bought in Germany brought to US and sat for 20 years. Believe to have original low 88K Miles.Vehicle fuel injection system has been refurbished. It has a new ignition switchalong with list of other miner repairs making itpleasantcar to drive.It drives strong and very solid. Good example of a 230L Pagoda Roadster.This 230sl was repainted prior to my ownership. The original Color is Mercedes off-white. Has sun roof hard top that operates smoothly.Rag top Missing.Doors close with the same vault-like distinct clunk.4-speed MANUAL transmission shifts very smoothly.- Needs new carpeting.The seats seam to have been reupholstered not too long ago overall in good shape. No rips or damage.- This car comes complete with the original owners manual, books, and years of receipts,- The chrome and stainless has some scratches.-The rubber is in very nice condition throughout, as well as the lights and lenses.The hardtop has some small blemishes, consistent the rest of the car.It has its original spare, jack, hazard reflector, and a first aid kit. A time capsule.The trunk is solid only surface rust.It has a letter of authenticity form Mercedes-Benz.
The car is not perfect it has two bubble spots, imperfections, and dings but is fun little cruiser.Always gets lots of attention.
