Up for auction is a rare W124 1992 Mercedes 300D 2.5 turbodiesel. I recently inherited this car after it was in storage since the original owners passing away in 2014.

This is a totally rust free Florida survivor. It was bought new at Mercedes-Benz Of Maitland, Fl, and had the majority of its service done there. I would rate the original exterior paint a 8+ out of 10. There is no clearcoat peeling and the paintwork looks great. No chips or cracks in glass, no dents or door dings, and again ZERO RUST! Car was always garage kept its entire life. Interior is a 9+ out of 10. No dash cracks, MB tex is in excellent condition.This is a very original, accident free car. It still has the ORIGINAL R12 freon, and the AC is ice cold, and heat and climate control work as they should.
There are a few minor issues that still need to be addressed such as-Rear window (passenger side) needs a regulator. It is very slow at going up and down.Sunroof motor is also slow, but I do have a spare, but no time to install it yet.I bought a new set of glow plugs, but have not installed them yet. I may have my MB mechanic do this next week.
Needs new antenna.
Car has all original books, and I have a pile of receipts.
I have been driving the car on a regular basis with no issues. Car starts right up on the first crank, and runs great. Transmission shifts as it should, car has great power and the turbo spools up as it should.
