1985 MERCEDES BENZ 300TD WAGON, Seats 7. Last year of the legendary W123 Wagon powered by one of the best engines ever built - OM617 3.0L Turbo diesel which produces 125HP and plenty of torque. The 1985 is the only year that featured a longer final drive for more relaxed cruising and the updated transmission.
Originally sold in California, 302K Miles on the clock. Comes with extra set of steel wheels. Some service history available. Here is a list of a few notable things from the service file: Recent front and rear brakes, rotors, calipers and pads. Parking Brake shoes and cables. Both motor mounts AND the expensive transmission mount were replaced, so was the muffler and the exhaust manifold as well as both fuel filters. The particle trap as well as the EGR have been removed, so it builds excellent power. The rear self leveling suspension works as it should. Starts on the first turn of the key even in the coldest mornings.
As with every 34 year old car, it will need a few minor things addressed, but fundamentally the car is in excellent condition.
