This is the desirable shorter body with a production total of 13,527 between April of 1971 and Novemberof 1972. Our seller has owned this "original" 280SE 4.5 for approximatelynine years and has been loyal to servicing the car with one independent German mechanic that owned his own shop. Franz tells us that she always did the maintenance and any repair work that he suggested without hesitation. She states thatshe is not aware of any mechanical attention needed and welcomes an inspection by the buyers mechanic. Repainted in the Mercedes Deep Blue in 2015, it presents as a "casual show" and well respected collectiblevintage Mercedesshould. The interior is Black, in excellent "original" condition, and the upgrades include the ContemporarySound System and the Vintage Nardi wood steering wheel.
