Offered for sale, from KURT TANNER MOTORCARS, is this very nice rustfree 560 SL Convertible. This car was just purchased from it's elderly owner from the town of Stockton in Central California who just wasn't using the car much anymore. This car includes extensive service history from Mercedes Benz dealers and European car specialists. It's an exceptional running and driving car with very nice cosmetics.The bodywork and paint on this car is very nice. At one point, the car appears to have had a very nice quality red repaint to the standards of it's original paintwork. It still shows well today, appearing glossy with a few flaws/imperfections. There are some normal chips along the driver's door and on the nose of the car from normal use.The car's interior is in very good original condition. The dashboard could use a repair or a dashcap. There is a small hole in the driver's seat bolster at the typical wear spot. The wood appears nice. The car's black cloth soft top is the factory original and in beautiful condition, having been stowed in the down position for most of it's live. The hardtop is excellent. The windshield appears to be the original.The car rides on newer Michelin tires and chrome wheels. The car starts easily on the key with no noises or smoke, revs well and smooth, idles nice, and drives happily down the road with great manners. It's mechanically excellent. There is a thick file of maintenance and repairs, and included is all of the original paperwork pictured.Overall, this attractive Signal Red 560 SL is a fantastic car for the money and is surely a good investment going forward.
