History:
Car was purchased by us in September 2017. Previous owners provided original paperwork with vehicle.Vehicle was originally purchased at dealership in New York. I believe we are the 3rd/ 4th owners. One small low speed rear end collision. (less than 10 mph) a girl was texting in traffic and tapped into rear rubber bumper. Absolutely no damage occurred, and was checked by mechanic to confirm this. All parts and maintenance performed by a certified Mercedes mechanic and all parts used are Bosch. We have had no troubles with the car except for replacing old parts that are expected.
Quirks:
·A/C works when it wants to. A/C compressor and motor have been updated at some point prior to our ownership. All we have done is recharge Freon. It blows cold sometimes.
·Faded paint in some areas and small dents / chipped paint (pictured)
Overall:
This nostalgic vehicle is reliable, and equal to or better on fuel than most cars currently. We fill up once a month, but also have a small commute. We add a diesel additive to stretch mileage as well as clean it out. The commute of the car is 90% of the time a 6 mile round trip give or take. We have put in a few thousand dollars to get the car where it is now, and it runs perfectly smooth and functions excellently. It is a reluctant sell. We love this car but must let it go, as our lives are moving in a different direction than when we first acquired it.
