For sale a very beautiful and rare '65 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class. Does not have black hard top. Mechanically very good. No smoke on startup, instant start, cold start works. New wires, new points and distributor cap. Air water and fuel hoses have been replaced as needed. Brake booster and calipers are recent new. Brake master cylinder has been replaced. New Bilstein shocks. New Time Valve stainless steel exhaust system, steering mechanical coupler replaced.
Trim work overall very good, paint work very good. All exterior lights work. Glass is excellent. Bumpers are all good, bumper core support is good. Wheel arches are solid and rust free. Undercarriage is solid.
Our estimation out of the 11726 sl's produced from 1963-1967, 3 percent of the cars were black (SCM calc). Overall nice car with an extremely original desirable color combination that is rare.
