starts easy and runs great in town and on the highway.
automatic transmission shifts smoothly in all gears.
25 mpg city/28 mpg highway
corners well, stable in high winds, and safe (more metal used in 1979--4800 pounds)
original Mercedes hood ornament.
chrome in excellent condition around front grill, the bumpers, and the rest of the trim.
original paint job in good condition except for a few minor dents (largest being approximately 8 inches in length with a depth of .25 of an inch. some scratches.
interior is blue vinyl in good condition as well. just one minor tear in vinyl of driver's seat.
can run on biodiesel if so desired (already converted and used by previous owner).
blue carpet on floorboards are intact.
passenger side window--the power works. purchased a motor for driver's side window but not installed. back power windows need new motors.
headlining is original but looks brand new.
all dash gauges work properly except clock.
needs replacement of front driver's side tierod.
rear brakes need to be replaced.
purchased from previous owner with knowledge of no air conditioning or heat (bypass system purchased but not installed)
less than 10K on tires.
great oil pressure.
