1980 Mercedes 240d - Runs, Drives, No Reserve!

1980 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series

1980 Mercedes 240d. Bought as part of a collection of cars and driven from downtown LA to LAX area. Hadn't been started in a couple years and with a battery started right up. Made the trip without a problem, about 15 miles on the highway as well. That said, I have no clue about its shape as a driver or any issues it may have. It was parked after the trip - the collection was bought for other cars. Odometer does not work. Paint needs a good polish. Shows shinier in pics than it is because it has a protective coat on it, but shows it has a good shiny base after a polish. It will fade back to more of a sun-faded look. Interior is fair at best, but it is complete. Trunk has a veggie oil tank and can be run on veggy or diesel. Will need a battery. Has started for us over the course of 3-4 months to move it around though. NO RESERVE. Buying as-is. Will make a good car for a bang around town car, one to take parts for another car, or to just look over and then drive. Bidders who vanish after winning will be reported.
