[zipedit]
1967 Mercedes 250SL Pagoda

The 250 SL was introduced at the 1967 Geneva Motor Show. Production had already commenced in December 1966 and ended in January 1968.

The short one-year, 1967 production run makes the 250 SL the rarest of all the W 113 series "Pagoda" SL cars.
Approximately 1,554 W113 body 250SL were originally imported into the United States.
Only around 467 are believed to have shipped to the US with a manual transmission.
Out of those 467 cars, less than 20 are known to have this cream exterior over red interior color combination!
Born in the last four months of the one-year production run, this car is an extremely rare survivor.
According to Hagerty, this is production #4497 out of 5,196 total 250SL ever made.
This is a one family owned Mercedes that has lived its whole life in Birmingham, Alabama.
We have an original Mercedes booklet showing the first owner. This verifies in writing the car has only had two owners from one family since delivered new on 12/8/1967.

It also shows, Chassis No. 10-004497, Engine No. 10-002255 matching the car.
It runs and drives well, and has only had minor work over the years.
Most of the paint and interior is thought to be original, with a few known exceptions being the sun visors, wood, firewall mat, and touch-up paint.
This car is in great shape but is not perfect. It's 51 years old.
More powerful than the 230SL & much rarer than the 280SL.
This is the Pagoda to own for pleasure, investment, or both.
$1,000 non-refundable deposit is due via PayPal within 48hrs of winning the auction.
