Exterior Condition: ExcellentThere are no major dents or dings. The jackholes and undercoating are in perfect condition, as all rust damage was corrected in 2013 from thefirewall to rear bumper. All exterior chrome trim is in excellent condition. Rubber moldings surrounding windows are in good condition and do not leak.The original Bundt style rims are in excellent condition. All tires on the automobile were replaced in 2017, including the spare tire in the trunk.Interior Condition: ExcellentFront and rear seats have been recovered with genuine Mercedes Palomino leather matching the cars original colors. The carpet is very clean with minor wear consistent with age. The wood trim around the shifter console and all other wood trim pieces are in good condition. The original dashboard is in excellent condition without any discoloration or cracking. The headliner stain free and properly secured. The stereo with CD player is in good working condition. The original first aid kit is complete and unused.Electrics remain in working order, including power windows, sliding roof, and power antenna. Gauges, clock and dash cluster all in excellent working condition.Mechanical Condition: ExcellentPower comes from a transplanted rebuilt 1985 MBZ OM617 3.0 liter, 5-cylinder, turbochargedmotor with 110,000 miles, paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. There are currently 119,000 miles shown on the odometer. Cold starts are instantaneous, recent maintenance includes fuel filter changes, annual treatment with Diesel Purge, new Bosio Fuel Injectors, new Bosch Glow Plugs, new injector pump and new fuel lines.The seller serviced the motor, chassis and engine compartment in April 2017. At this time, the seller installed: new engine shocks, motor mounts, oil cooler and cooler lines, new hoses, fuel lines, and belts. All valves have been adjusted and a new valve cover gasket installed. The car shifts sure, timely, and proper. The suspension is solid and comfortable, and the steering is tight and responsive without any play. Acceleration is efficient.The air conditioning system was rebuilt in 2017, including a new compressor, upper and lower lines, evaporator and dryer, and runs on R134a.
