Purchased new by the original owner and brought here to Texas, it has remained in the Dallas Area all of its life. Whatever this car needed, it was taken care of. In 1999 at the 120,000 mile point, the owner has the timing chain replaced and whatever else was needed.Rodney Herson Automotive has the full maintenancehistory of this car. The owner chose not to get copies, but they are available if needed. The interior is in very good condition for the age of thecar. There is an upgraded Alpine CD player and stereo. The center console has no cracks which most Mercedes of this era usaually have. As mentioned before, even though the actual mileage is 131387, the car has been extremelywell maintained. There are no current mechanical issues. The only really worn part of thedriver's seat is this piping which is in need of repair. The foam of course is a little soft and could probably use replacing. The soft top is in excellent condition inside and out. The European Vin# will decode if you check the Mercedes European site. That is why no Auto Check report comes up. The engine compartment is clean and in great shape for a 1984 car. The paint and body are very good. There are the typical surface scratches that would buff out with a professional buff job, but it looks fine as it is. The trunk is clean and contains the original spare and jack. The first aid kit is in the trunk . The spare is an original factory wheel. The owner does not have the other 4. The undercarriage is in good condition too. Having been so well taken care of, it appears to have no leaks. It just shows the normal road dirt. If you consider this cars age, and the miles, the car has only been driven an average of 3864 miles per year. The hard top is like new. It was very seldom used. The headliner is great and there are no noticeable scratches on the paint. Please enjoy our remaining photos. All 4 wire wheels are in excellent condition.
